Experiment 04 / Early Java practice
Mobile comparison
A Java console tool that prints phone specification sheets and sets two of them side by side.
2023
Coursework project. Written in a single Java class.
01 / The problem
What it set
out to do.
Choosing a phone means comparing the same ten attributes across models, and pricing that changes with the storage and color you pick.
- 01Choose a model
- 02Choose a variant
- 03Specification sheet
- 04Compare two phones
A simplified view of how the code is organized, not a production infrastructure diagram.
02 / The approach
Decisions beneath
the surface.
- 01
Hold each model as a structured specification sheet: display, processor, camera, battery, connectivity, dimensions.
- 02
Ask for storage and color first, then resolve the price for that exact variant.
- 03
Offer the comparison as the next step, so two sheets can be read against each other.

The working set.
05 / What it left behind
An early Java exercise in structuring data and branching logic around a decision someone actually makes.
